Hi All You Worms Playing Dudes!!!!!
No doubt you all got bored playing the Custom Levels you got
with it.
This disk contains some custom Worms levels (obviously!) and they
are as follows: BEECHY.WRM - A beach level I did because
Team 17 didn't include an
Amiga version of it.
SWEET.WRM - A candy level because ,again,
Team 17 didn't include it.
SWEET2.WRM - Same as above but with cool
dithering FX.
UNDERSEA.WRM - A world beneath the waves yet
above them at the same time,
Hmmmm, STRANGE!
SIMPSONS.WRM - Ever wanted to remove Homer's
eye with a bazooka? Or blast
Bart's boulders with an UZI?
Then this is the level for
you!
SCOTCH.WRM - Had the notion for a brawl on
the bonny,bonny banks of Loch
Lomond? The urge for a
skirmish at Loch Ness? You
have? Load this ane up an'
git blastin'.
8BIT.WRM - Relive the crap old days with
this worms level in the style
of the ZX81! Play such greats
as Alchemist, Manic Miner and
Jet Set Willy (Sort Of!).
CLASSIXX.WRM - Remember wasting loads of time
(and cash) playing games like
Pac-man, Defender and Space
Invaders then coming home to
your ZX81 to play Manic Miner
at 2 o'clock then be playing
it and then at 2:15 be playing
it? If so then this levels for
you!
SPACEWORM.WRM - I'm a space worm, I always
wanted to be a space worm.
Intergalactic-Worm.
ICECREAM.WRM - Slippin' and a slidin' in
IceCreamsVille.
But there's more! If you want special gravity and friction settings
heres how to do it:
Step 1: Think about the level and it's real life gravity/friction.
Step 2: You have to add numbers to the end of the level name.
eg. FILENAME.wxyz.WRM
FILENAME = Your own level name.
W = Gravity 1-5 (1 = Airborne and 5 = Earthbound)
X = Friction 1-5 (1 = Slidy and 5 = No Slide At All)
Y = Sea Colour 0-8 (Colour on Custom picture)
Z = Mountain Colour 0-8 (Colour on Custom picture)
Step 3: Rename your level according to desired Gravity/Friction.
Step 4: Load it into worms as normal. Do not type NAME.wxyz just type
the name.
Step 5: Enjoy playing your level like a real world!
Here are some cool settings for my levels:
BEECHY.WRM - I can't think of one.
SWEET.WRM - Rename it SWEET.3422.WRM for
a sticky toffee level or
SWEET.2122.WRM for a slippery
boiled sweet level. Mmmmmm!
UNDERSEA.WRM - Rename it UNDERSEA.4422.WRM for
a hard to move in watery world.
SIMPSONS.WRM - I can't think of one.
SCOTCH.WRM - I can't think of one.
8BIT/CLASSIXX.WRM - Rename NAME.4122.WRM for that
sluggish spectrum game feel.
SPACEWORM.WRM - Rename SPACEWORM.1322.WRM for
that low gravity spacey feel.
If you have designed any WORMS levels on computer or paper then send
them to me for use in my next disk and if I use them then you get that
disk free.
If you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed making them then just
drop me a line saying what Worms levels you'd like to see in the
future and if I use the idea I'll send you the level disk it features
in. If you want the next level disk which will be ready soon then send
me £1 and a stamp or 50p and a stamp if you supply a disk. This
product is Level-Ware which means if you use it you've to send any
levels you've made!
Thanks go to the people behind the IconoGFX replacement-icons because
I stole their Colour-sorting script. Thank you and sorry if I've
offended the IconoGFX team.
That's 50p, a disk + postage or £1 plus postage sent to:

PS. Team 17 really are great guys. After all - you can't make custom
levels for the PC version. Thanks for a fab game Team 17!
